If you’re looking for a healthy treat that feels indulgent but is made with real, nourishing ingredients, ABC jellies are it.

No artificial colors.
No refined sugar.
Just real fruits, vegetables, and plant-based gelatin.
Why ABC Jellies?
The classic ABC combination (apple, beet, carrot) is loved in juicing for good reason:
- Apples support digestion and help promote clearer skin through gut balance
- Beets support circulation and detox pathways, which can reflect in brighter skin
- Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, supporting skin tone and glow
Turning this juice into jellies makes it fun, portable, and easy to enjoy; especially if you want something sweet without the crash.

Ingredients (Vegan-Friendly)
For the Juice Base
- 3–4 apples, washed and cored
- 2 medium beets, peeled
- 3–4 carrots, peeled
(Juiced fresh for best flavor and nutrients)
For the Jellies
- 2 cups fresh ABC juice
- 2–3 tablespoons vegan gelatin (agar-agar powder)
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave (optional, to taste)
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
What Vegan Gelatin to Use
For plant-based jellies, agar-agar powder is the best option. It’s derived from seaweed and sets firmer than traditional gelatin, so a little goes a long way.
Tip: Agar sets at room temperature and firms up quickly once cooled.
How to Make ABC Jellies (Step-by-Step)
Step 1: Juice the Ingredients
Juice the apples, beets, and carrots using a cold-press or slow juicer.
Strain if you want extra-smooth jellies.
Measure out 2 cups of fresh juice.
Step 2: Heat the Juice
Pour the juice into a small saucepan over medium heat.
Do not boil—warm it gently until steaming.
Step 3: Add Vegan Gelatin
Whisk in 2–3 tablespoons of agar-agar powder, stirring constantly to avoid clumps.
Let the mixture simmer gently for 3–5 minutes, stirring until fully dissolved.
Step 4: Sweeten (Optional)
Taste and add maple syrup or agave if desired.
Add lemon juice if using.
Stir well.
Step 5: Mold the Jellies
Carefully pour the mixture into:
- Silicone molds
- A glass dish (to cut into cubes)
- Small jars or ramekins
Step 6: Set & Chill
Let cool at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, then refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until fully set.
Once firm, remove from molds or slice into cubes.
